This Easter we had our traditional easter egg fight. It is a mexican custom to crack colorful confetti eggs on unsuspected heads. But be careful whose head you crack because paybacks can be hell. We had a wonderful time with family and friends. I would estimate we had about 25-30 dozen confetti eggs. Thanks to Mother Nature for supplying lots of wind that day. We did not have to rake up all that confetti.
The colors of a stained glass window when the sun shines through is magical, but in a mosaic piece the grout is what makes the colors pop. I have been working with stained glass for over twenty years. I love the sound of the score, breaking and cutting of the glass. The pictures you can create with pieces of glass are endless. It is so exciting to see the final project and selling a piece of art is thrilling. E-mail me if you are interested in purchasing a piece of art.

These are definitely going on our Easter agenda next year.

What a pretty picture. Do you know Crafty Chica? She has a hilarous story about making these for a TV segment and it wouldn't break on the interviewers head and she kept trying, hitting them harder and harder. Too funny!
